After browsing the Philadelphia Auto Show floor for a while, we came across one of the only radical concept cars: Jeep’s Renegade. This crazy concept has the appearance of a futuristic Jeep Wrangler that has taken going “green” to a new level. Because of the exposed interior, I couldn’t decide weather to throw a SUV Cover over it for protection, or see how it would handle an off road adventure. This concept has electric motors at each end to power the standard Jeep 4 Wheel Drive.

You can easily help in Environmental care by changing a few habits. These things can not only make you more “green” but also be able to save you money. The automotive industry is making much progress by continuing to provide consumers with electric, hybrid or alternately fueled vehicles. If current eco-friendly options are not available to you because of budget, location, or other factors, you can still participate in the green revolution through other means.
A few examples are, regular vehicle maintenance that will help your engine running at its best, helping increase your vehicles fuel efficiency and making your vehicle’s engine pollute less. Keeping your tires properly inflated and aligned will help the tires’ life expectancy eliminating additional waste. Also, remember to dispose of oil, anit-freeze and other engine fluids properly; no one wants to be personally responsible for polluting local water or poisoning wildlife. Last, doing car care product research, investing in products made of recycled materials, help save your money and also helps the environment! Empire Covers is doing our part; check out out Premier Cover, a car cover made of completely recyclable material.

With the lending economy still slowing down you may have your car for a longer period of time then expected. To take further care of it you should cover it up to protect the paint and extend the life.
If you are in the market for a new vehicle you may be asking yourself, should I buy or should I lease? Make sure you do your research and take the time educating yourself about these two financial options. It will ultimately come down to personal circumstances but having facts will help when you’re in the dealers chair faced with this decision.
If you are in search of lower monthly payments and like having a new car every few years that features the latest technology as well as security of a warranty, then a Lease may just be for you. On the other hand if you are searching for ownership with the option to customize your ride, drive more then average miles and plan on keeping your vehicle for a long period of time then maybe buying is the way to go.
The decision to buy or lease will vary with each household but remember to get your facts and keep in mind simple protection like a car cover will help in keeping your vehicle looking young and may just get you that little extra cash needed when you are ready to trade in!

Do you have a minor scratch on your vehicle, maybe from that shopping cart in the grocery store parking lot? Did you know that serious rust damage can occur from such a tiny scratch? Your vehicle is built to last but when that metal is exposed to a variety of the elements this is what may or will cause rust.
When a dent, ding or simple scratch occurs take the time to cover your vehicle until you have the time or budget to fix this imperfection. This is where a car cover may come in handy. Try to cover chips in the paint as quickly as possible to prevent further chipping as well as damage. Also, remember when repairing that dent ding or scratches consider the cure time if replacing paint

People always worry about the outside of their vehicles but with winter coming in full force don’t neglect the inside as well. With extreme heat at a halt and colder weather setting in it is a great time to catch up on conditioning your leather interior. After giving it a good once over with the vacuum give the seats a thorough wipe down with automotive leather cleaner/conditioner. This will help with the cracks and everyday wear your seats encounter. Many dealerships have such products available for your specific make vehicle. If you want to go a step further you could look into a stronger leather renewal dye to restore the original color and finish the car came with. This process will not only make the interior look and feel new, add that extra value to an older vehicle, but it will also give it that extra protection needed during dfferent seasons when it experiences extreme temperature changes. from a cold car to a warmed up cabin with the heat cranked.
Also remember that car covers can protect your newly treated sets against additional wear from the sun damage year round and help in keeping temperatures more natural. Every bit of protection you give your vehicle is going to help in keeping the value high.
