People do not hate us!! Honestly people love our car covers

Thursday, October 8th, 2009

sometimes when you hear the returns department you think everyone hates your and make you want to cry- well it’s good because we get post like this once in awhile. I will try to share the reviews as much as possible which all of them are on the site. You like us- you truelly like us- ok that is cheesy. This is from a customer i swear

I had one of those other custom covers. You know the ones, custom cab and bed fit with the Dumbo ears. Well it got damaged and I needed a new cover. My truck is “my precious pride and joy” and I was unsure about purchasing a “less expensive” cover. I live in HOT south Florida with lots of thunderstorms. I just took the cover off today, after two weeks, expecting that I needed to wash the truck. The black interior was cool and the truck was perfectly clean on the outside! Not a spot! In the mornings lots of water is on the cover. This is either from the nights rain or morning dew. I believe the shape (angled down from cab to tailgate) helps keeps water from sitting on the cover and the cover from laying on the truck. I have a black tonneau cover that’s always a huge pain to keep really clean and spot free. Not a spot! On the downside: I can not get the cover to fit back in the bag it came in. (Sigh) I must admit, “It HAD to fit back in the bag”, was not a needed requirement. This cover has exceeded my expectations. I HIGHLY recommend the Empire MAX cover!!!

We Don’t Make Car Covers This Big

This giant vehicle sure is a mess. If only we made a car cover large enough to fit this beast. As you can see in the photo one of its tires is about the size of a normal Jeep Cherokee Sport.

How truck cover works

F150
F150
F150

The main thing to show is how the truck cover goes vertically from the cab to the end of the bed- that is to prevent water from building up in the bed. The water should roll off the bed if the fit is good. if you are having problems with the fit just fold in the mirrors. THank you

F150

I received emails saying please show more of your photo shoot and my designers were like no the truck covers are sacred, we cannot show unedited pictures. I told them ,”i give my people want they want, i am the boss.” The designers lost but i had to buy them lunch. They hate me writing this stuff. I swear i am going to get into videos soon. Anyone have any recommendations on what to write please let me know. So the F150 covered looks really good and the truck cover does go down vertical across the bed to prevent water from building up. I will have my designers draw it out for you someday to show the mechanics of a car cover. Love the blog, love me people. Ok please send any comments to jake@empirecovers.com and hope you enjoy.

Reducing Stress while driving

Friday, March 27th, 2009

Are looking forward to car rides to the beach for a weekend get away this spring?

What happens when you hit traffic? Do you pull of on the side of the road throw that trusty car cover, truck cover or suv cover on and wait it out? Or face traffic right along with the stress it brings?

If you plan on continuing on, here are a few tops to Reduce stress while driving!

First, know your destination! If you do not have a navigation system make sure to map out your route and have directions on hand. Next, try to allow yourself extra time. The thought of being late or in a hurry may raise your blood pressure. If traveling with children bring snacks just in case the traffic cuts into dinner time. If your children are occupied with food or other activities you will be better focused. Also you never know when you’ll need a snack as well!
