F150 truck covers

F150

I received emails saying please show more of your photo shoot and my designers were like no the truck covers are sacred, we cannot show unedited pictures. I told them ,”i give my people want they want, i am the boss.” The designers lost but i had to buy them lunch. They hate me writing this stuff. I swear i am going to get into videos soon. Anyone have any recommendations on what to write please let me know. So the F150 covered looks really good and the truck cover does go down vertical across the bed to prevent water from building up. I will have my designers draw it out for you someday to show the mechanics of a car cover. Love the blog, love me people. Ok please send any comments to jake@empirecovers.com and hope you enjoy.

Protecting Against snow- a car cover works best

snow

A little grainy, but i am working on that. I am going to add video and images very soon to the website. I am more of a coder than i am a writer so please bare that in mind. I will tell the history of Empire some day. This picture was taken last winter at my grand fathers house. The cover did extremely well in the snow. This is a max car cover that i used. The only problem with snow is you have to take the cover off very slowly if it ices over. What you should do is heat up some water and pour it gently on the cover to melt the ice and take it off. Pretend you have a band-aid on your car. Be careful. If you have any request on what you want me to write about please email me at jake@empirecovers.com. I love complaints too. Those are the best.

Photo Shoot of a Cargo Van- 16 passenger with a car cover

cargo van

This was very impressive. We do take all of our own pictures and if any car cover companies try to steal our car cover pictures i will shoot them but this was our own photo shoot that we went to at a dealership. Just to show you how cool we are we actually do our own photo shoots. This is a great fit i got to say. This was not tampered with either. This is a real 16 passenger cargo van. This is not a custom car cover either. This is semi-custom that you can buy for as little as 49.99 but i would prefer you bought the max car cover that is a lot better. Any questions please email me at jake@empirecovers.com and send pictures. As the Bosstones say “pictures to prove it”. By the way my designers are probably going to kill me for posting these images online. I do what the people want. I am the boss but the looks they give you when you do something stupid like post pictures online for people to see and steal they get a little annoyed because we want to be the only people who have these pictures online. Please do not steal them. GRRRRRR,
Jake

My Car Covered

covered prius
covered prius

So i felt like a hypocrite the other day. i do actually keep my car covered as much as possible. I am using the ultimate cover because it was what was lying around the office that day and i felt like it was a very good car cover. It’s a pretty good fit. The reason i usually do not have it covered too is because i also have a bike rack on the back of my car. I like to bike around philly as much as possible. I am not saying you can’t have a car cover if you have a bike rack, i am saying i love my bike a lot. I actually use the VIP motorcycle cover to protect my bike and my wifes bike while we do not use it. I am not using this to advertise my website. I have a new kid coming soon in November and my wife didn’t want me putting the kid in the loft next to the wedding gifts we don’t use. The kid gets the second bed room and my bike gets the balcony. I do feel very secure that the bikes will be safe under the VIP motorcycle cover. If i was bigger hore i would start telling you about my wifes company that she works for where she gets all of her maternity clothes. O dam i did it again. O well have a nice day

Shielding Your Ride from the Hot Sun

Tuesday, May 19th, 2009

It is starting to be that time of year again… The time when things start to warm up and the bright scorching sun begins to take a toll on your paint while simultaneously heating up and slowly damaging the interior of your vehicle. The sun not only damages your car’s paint, dash and seats, but it also makes the inside of your vehicle virtually unbearable!

If you are unable to constantly park your car in a garage due to long work hours or due to the simple fact that you may not own a garage–rest assured there is a solution! UV treated car cover such as the ones offered at Empirecovers.com. These covers will give your car the protection your car desires as well as the comfort you desire.

Cuban Cars

Monday, May 4th, 2009

If you enjoy looking at vintage or older vehicles then this is a topic for you! Visiting the roads and street in Cuba is like being taking back in time seeing vehicles that in the US are hidden under car covers or featured in movies from 40 years ago.  Check it out!
