Gust Guard and Cable & Lock Kit

Monday, June 6th, 2011

So purchasing a cover to protect your car, truck, or SUV was a great step- you no longer have to worry about damage from rain, from sun, or from mold. However, there are two products we offer here at Empire Covers to help make your vehicle cover even better!

The Gust Guard is great for those who live in a windy or breezy environment. It features a unique bungee system to help ensure that your vehicle cover stays secure. The guard features two bungee cords and four clips; the clips fasten to the bottom of your cover to make sure it stays in place during those aggressive storms with powerful gusts of winds. At only $14.99, the gust guard is a great investment.

The other important product that we offer is the Cable and Lock Kit. Starting at $9.99, this high-strength item consists of a plastic-coated steel cable and weather-proof lock. Two keys are included. This is perfect for those looking for a little extra security- it helps make sure your cover stays locked to your vehicle.

To properly protect your vehicle, make use of your Empire Cover and accessories!

The History of Empire Covers!

Friday, May 27th, 2011

It all began seven years ago…

In 2004, Empire Covers was formed, just outside of Philadelphia.  We began selling car, truck, and SUV covers online at EmpireCovers.com.  Since then, we have vastly grown and have expanded our product line to include floor mats and covers for motorcycles, boats, snowmobiles, ATVs, RVs, and pet seats.  We sell diverse, reasonably priced covers for both indoor and outdoor use; this is done because at Empire Covers, we know our customers needs are different- we like to have something for everyone.

In 2008, we decided to expand our cover business to include high quality, durable patio furniture covers- which led to the creation of Empirepatiocovers.com. This product line includes covers for:  chairs, sofas, tables, ottomans, grills, hot tubs, fire pits, fountains, chaise lounges, umbrellas, log racks, and air conditioners.

We love our customers, and we strive to give you the best service and experience as possible.

Reducing Stress while driving

Friday, March 27th, 2009

Are looking forward to car rides to the beach for a weekend get away this spring?

What happens when you hit traffic? Do you pull of on the side of the road throw that trusty car cover, truck cover or suv cover on and wait it out? Or face traffic right along with the stress it brings?

If you plan on continuing on, here are a few tops to Reduce stress while driving!

First, know your destination! If you do not have a navigation system make sure to map out your route and have directions on hand. Next, try to allow yourself extra time. The thought of being late or in a hurry may raise your blood pressure. If traveling with children bring snacks just in case the traffic cuts into dinner time. If your children are occupied with food or other activities you will be better focused. Also you never know when you’ll need a snack as well!

Jeep Renegade

Friday, February 20th, 2009

After browsing the Philadelphia Auto Show floor for a while, we came across one of the only radical concept cars: Jeep’s Renegade.  This crazy concept has the appearance of a futuristic Jeep Wrangler that has taken going “green” to a new level. Because of the exposed interior,  I couldn’t decide weather to throw a SUV Cover over it for protection, or see how it would handle an off road adventure. This concept has electric motors at each end to power the standard Jeep 4 Wheel Drive.
