We’re Proud of Our American Products

Monday, November 16th, 2009

At Empirecovers.com, we sell a wide array of quality products. These products range from car, boat, truck, and SUV covers, to floor mats, patio furniture covers, and accessories such as spare car covers, and seat covers. We are very proud to say that most of the products we sell are made, manufactured, and shipped in the United States. We have partnerships with American companies such as DuPont that make our Premier Tyvek cover and Lloyd Mats that make our custom and non custom floor mats. Some of our other American made products include the Max cover and the Sunguard cover. American made products are not only better quality, but they also help to boost our country’s economy.

The Max cover is made in the United States at our Kentucky factory. It is our most durable cover because it provides top-of-the-line protection against sun, heavy rain, ice, snow, and dust. This is also out most popular cover in areas such as California, Florida, and Texas. The Max cover also has three layers of Endura Plus protection that provides breathability, water and UV resistance. This cover is available for trucks, SUVs, vans, station wagons, and limousines.

The Sunguard cover is also made at our United States factory in Kentucky. This cover is very lightweight and provides top sun protection. It is breathable, UV treated, and non-abrasive. This cover is very popular in desert areas where there is lots of sun and little rain.

Why buy American? Producing products in the United States provides jobs for those in industries such as manufacturing, customer service, and retail. Another perk to having American made products is the quality assurance. These products have at least a ten year warranty, the Max having the best with a lifetime guarantee. We stand by our products and can assure that you’re getting the best anyone could make. Buy an American made Max cover today and support your country!

Max Truck Cover Rave Reviews

Tuesday, October 27th, 2009

Recent review from one of our recent customers:

“I had one of those other custom covers. You know the ones, custom cab and bed fit with the Dumbo ears. Well it got damaged and I needed a new cover. My truck is “my precious pride and joy” and I was unsure about purchasing a “less expensive” cover.

I live in HOT south Florida with lots of thunderstorms.
I just took the cover off today, after two weeks, expecting that I needed to wash the truck. The black interior was cool and the truck was perfectly clean on the outside!
Not a spot!

In the mornings lots of water is on the cover.
This is either from the nights rain or morning dew. I believe the shape (angled down from cab to tailgate) helps keeps water from sitting on the cover and the cover from laying on the truck. I have a black tonneau cover that’s always a huge pain to keep really clean and spot free.
Not a spot!

On the downside: I can not get the cover to fit back in the bag it came in. (Sigh) I must admit, “It HAD to fit back in the bag”, was not a needed requirement.

This cover has exceeded my expectations.
I HIGHLY recommend the Empire MAX cover!!!”

How truck cover works

F150
F150
F150

The main thing to show is how the truck cover goes vertically from the cab to the end of the bed- that is to prevent water from building up in the bed. The water should roll off the bed if the fit is good. if you are having problems with the fit just fold in the mirrors. THank you

F150

I received emails saying please show more of your photo shoot and my designers were like no the truck covers are sacred, we cannot show unedited pictures. I told them ,”i give my people want they want, i am the boss.” The designers lost but i had to buy them lunch. They hate me writing this stuff. I swear i am going to get into videos soon. Anyone have any recommendations on what to write please let me know. So the F150 covered looks really good and the truck cover does go down vertical across the bed to prevent water from building up. I will have my designers draw it out for you someday to show the mechanics of a car cover. Love the blog, love me people. Ok please send any comments to jake@empirecovers.com and hope you enjoy.

Keeping Your Chrome Shiny

Friday, August 28th, 2009

You just spent your Sunday afternoon detailing your bike. It looks beautiful and brand new; the chrome is shiny and the paint is bright and glossy. It would be a shame for all that work to go to waste. If you want to keep your bike looking pristine for longer, use a high-quality motorcycle cover to protect it.

Motorcycles are great vehicles when you truly want to experience the great outdoors. If you live in a house with a garage, then storing and protecting your motorcycle is an easy task to do. By storing it in the garage, you protect it mainly from weather damage. But what if you live in an apartment complex with no garage or a house with no garage? Fortunately you still have a choice when it comes to storing your motorcycle. Consider using a motorcycle cover for protection against the weather.

The first thing you need to realize about motorcycle covers is that not all covers are made the same. Most riders believe that you can go to your local retail store, buy a cheap motorcycle cover, and expect it to do and act the same as a cover you would by at a motorcycle shop. The truth of the matter is – you get what you pay for. In other words, if you pay for a cheap cover, then you get cheap quality and a cover that won’t last very long at all. However if you put the money into a good motorcycle cover, then chances are it will last you a long while.

Cheap motorcycle covers that you get from your local retail store are not much more than a plastic, royal blue, tarp cover. This type of cover will tie at the bottom of the bike with elastic hooks. A high-quality cover is custom fit to your motorcycle so it fits snuggly around the bike to protect it from weather and flying debris.

A lot of motorcycle covers are made to be resistant to water, as well as to repel water or to have UV protection to prevent the harmful rays from damaging the paint job on your motorcycle. We now offer a 100% water proof motorcycle cover. It will not only protect against water damage, but it is completely breathable which will allow any moisture to evaporate out. This prevents the bike from getting any rust and rot. The exterior of the motorcycle cover will keep water away while the interior of the cover lets the moisture escape to keep your bike dry.

The sun’s UV rays can damage any part of your motorcycle from your paint job to your leather seats to your hoses- the sun can even damage your leather gloves if you ride hard and ride every day. Motorcycle covers can protect against all of that. The cover can also keep your seat cool from the summer sun.

Not only does a cover protect again the sun’s rays and rain, but it can also protect again the snow and ice, bird feces, tree sap, tree branches that may fall, and may even protect your tires against a stray dog that decides to use the bathroom on your tires.

So what type of cover do you need to get? There are several companies that make a heavy-duty cover for your motorcycle. These types of covers may come with vents, heat shields, and a surface that is waterproof.

If you are a traveling motorcyclist, you can find covers that are still durable but not as heavy duty. These types of covers come with a bag in which the cover can be stored. Motorcycle Covers also protect your bike from potential thieves as they can’t see what is under the cover.

Pricing for motorcycle covers are relatively reasonable, ranging anywhere from forty to eighty dollars. But by putting the money into a motorcycle cover, your bike will have years of protection and will look as good as new for as long as you have your cover.
